In March 2018, NPR Worldwide’s Beale Street Caravan radio show recorded the dual record release show from John Paul Keith and Motel Mirrors, and aired them in two broadcasts.

John Paul was also a guitarist in the house band at the 2018 Ameripolitan Awards show, hosted by Dale Watson at the Guest House at Graceland. BSC devoted an episode to this as well, featuring performances from Asleep at the Wheel, Nikki Lane, James Inveldt, Jason D. Williams, Dickey Lee, Sleepy LaBeef, Dale Watson with the Blackwood Brothers, and more.

In June 2016, JPK hosted a tribute to the late Scotty Moore at Lafayette’s Music Room, recorded for Beale Street Caravan and aired on October 12, 2016, featuring guest appearances from Jerry Phillips, J.M. Van Eaton, and more.

In addition to being a performer on the show, John Paul has also been a contributor to Beale Street Caravan. In the fall of 2015, the segment was called “Made in Memphis”, and examined a hit song that everybody knows, but not everybody knows was recorded in Memphis.

On the 2016 season, John Paul’s segment was called “Something On the Side” and examined the behind-the-scenes figures who made the Memphis sound.
