New Midwest dates, Black Cab Sessions, and more

We’re headed back North this week with shows in Springfield, MO this Friday and Columbia, MO on Saturday. After that, we have a few gigs with Missouri’s own Kentucky Knife Fight, in Memphis, St. Louis, and Edwardsville, IL. The full list of upcoming shows is here. Be sure to sign up for our email list, Facebook, and Twitter to get all the latest updates.

Still don’t have the new record? Well, now you can download it from eMusic for the rock-bottom price of $5.88! They have our first album, too, for the same price. (And yes, we’re also on Spotify).

A few months back, the UK site The Black Cab Sessions came to the States to document the music scene in several cities, Memphis being one of them. In case you’re not familiar with the concept of the show, they take an artist for a ride in the back of a London cab and film them singing a song. My performance surfaced recently. Check it out. I’m told there will be more Memphis footage to come, including interviews, so stay tuned.

Podcast: Live-in-the-studio at WMSE Milwaukee

For those who missed it, I was on the air with WMSE’s Zero Hour program in Milwaukee this past weekend.  I sang a few acoustic numbers and talked about one of my favorite subjects: me.

In all seriousness, Andy there does a great job and plays some killer records. You should download or stream this podcast of the whole show (it’s the one from 09/23/11).

We also got some nice press last week in Chicago, from the Reader and the Examiner. Thanks to everyone in Illinois, Wisconsin, and Michigan who came out to the shows!
